Banana Bread

This is the recipe my mom uses in her bakery (scaled down to make 4 large loaves instead of 16).


Preheat oven to 350.

Cream together:
1 1/2 cups butter
3 cups sugar
7 bananas (peeled)

Add:
1 TB vanilla
1/2 cup milk
3/4 cup applesauce
6 eggs

Mix in:
6 cups white flour
1 TB baking soda
1/2 TB salt

Bake large loaves for 1 hour, small loaves for 35 minutes.  (For convection oven heat to 325, bake large loaves for 45 minutes, small for 30 minutes).  Makes 4 large loaves.
