Pecan Pie

Pecan Pie
1 cup corn syrup
1 cup brown sugar
3 eggs slightly beaten
1/3 cup melted butter
1/3 t. salt
1 t. vanilla
1 heaping cup pecans

In large bowl combine corn syrup, sugar eggs, butter,
salt and vanilla.
Pour into uncooked pie crust and sprinkle pecans on top.
Bake at 350* for 45--50 min or until set.
I find that the crust get overly done, i.e. burnt, so
either put a cookie sheet on the rack under the pie
when it is about half done or put foil around the edges.
