Alfredo Sauce

from a Relief Society cookbook

I've only made this once, but Adam said it's a keeper so I figured I better put it on the blog before I forget which recipe I used.


4 TB butter
4-8 cloves garlic
2 cups heavy cream
1 TB dried parsley flakes
salt & pepper to taste
6 oz shredded parmesan cheese

Saute butter and garlic together for one minute.  Add cream, seasonings, and parsley, stirring often until beginning to bubble.  Gradually add cheese, stirring constantly.  Serve over cooked noodles.
